My Aunt and Uncle were hurt by a drunk driver, what is going to happen to the woman that hit them?

My Aunt and Uncle are okay, but my uncle lost a leg. They were on a motorcycle when a 62 year old drunk driver went into their lane and hit them. My uncle had to have his leg amputated and my aunt had a collapsed lung, a broken ankle, foot, leg, and collarbone. What is legally going to happen to the woman that hit them? This will be her 3rd DUI since February. She works at a high school. This all happened in Vermont, by the way. So what is going to happen to her legally, with a trial and everything?
