Question about pain meds?

Okay i was prescribed tylenol 4 turns out im intolerant or allergic to codeine soo i got hydrocodone instead i took the tylenol 4 at 8 n its been about 6 hours so i took the hydrocodone jw is that a long enough wait ooor ? Thanks
