Inexpensive Romantic Getaway... tropical, cruise or local?

My husband and I would like to plan a romantic getaway sometime in Oct. Now I know this is 4 months away. We just figured that we can look into booking a cheap airfare now depending on the destination. We live in New England and we do NOT want to go to Aruba, Cancun, Vegas or Florida... We just got married and we didn't have a chance to go on a honeymoon yet. We would love to go to Hawaii but it's too expensive. At least we've been told. We just want to spend a very romantic getaway together. Any suggestions with locations, price and details? Thank you all:)
