Looking for a good family plan ideas for 2 weeks in july to one or two spots please help?

This is my first good chance after all life pressure for good trip .hoping to do the right choice with my three little kids and husband..mexico or Aruba or the usa.i was thinking about florida but the heat over there in the summer made me worry. please give me ideas.
