Why is your knowledge of history so limited?
During the 17th century the Netherlands had colonies in the far east of the size of the USA, while it had colonies in South America such as Surinam and the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao)...that made it the smallest country in the world where the sun never sets.....
