Whats the difference between being allergic to alcohol and being intolerant of alcohol?

i'm 5ft and 100 pounds and i drank ONE BOTTLE of smirnoff green apple and half way through i was fine and when i drank the whole thing (i took my time i didn't shove it down my throat) i started turning pink and when i finished the bottle my face and the parts where i turned red was hot (my cheeks were the hottest though) idk if i'm allergic to it or i can't take alcohol that much?
