Vacationing with my period. ?

Hey well I got my period today and it says my next one is scheduled for April 20th I'm going to Aruba April 17th to the 26th I want to swim and stuff but how will I be able to? I haven't even told my mom that I got my period my cousin who is 14 is staying with us and she's a girl. So if I need help I can ask her but what do io do? Tampons look uncomfortable.
