GoldFish alive for 50 years!?!?!?!?

HELLO! ok so like my uncle has a little house down in mexico. He got a common goldfish when he was ten. First he kept it in a 75 gallon tank for about 30 years! Then he put it in a pond for 20 years.Now he has had his goldfish for 50 years! He now keeps it in a 75 gallon again because it's sick :(. YES it is the same fish because it has the same black spot on its back! And plus its the only COMMON he has ever owned. SO does this mean he has beaten the world record of 43 years!!!???!?!?
