Can I call ICE under these circumstances?
My uncle, who is a burden to everyone in my family, demanded to live in our home. Not sure why, but my mother let him in. No one in the house likes him because he's a lazy freeloader, and he's not even legal. He has no right being in this country. I believe he had a green card or a visa at one point (many years ago) but he let it expire without leaving, and he's been here ever since. He has no right being in the United States. He doesn't have a job or anything, so he isn't really a threat to our economy or anything like that. I just really want him gone and I don't know what to do. If I call ICE, will they actually do anything about him? If not, then who can I call to get him deported? This is a serious question and I'd very much appreciate help, because I have very little knowledge about this topic. By the way, everyone in my household is a legal US citizen except for him.
